I’ve always been curious about this.

How much do people read into verifications? Aside from knowing a person is real and genuine. Like, it’s not like trip advisor where you’d leave a bad review and in the heat of post coitus I’d imagine some are written.

I’m well verified, does that give me a better chance that I’m going to attract someone based off what they read?

Interesting way to look at it. I’ve always wondered if people were put off by the detail. I used to write quite detailed and descriptive ones but in my old age I’ve mellowed and they’re less saucy

I've never yet met anyone based on a verification because I chat for quite a while and get to know people before agreeing to meet.

I don't care what someone else may have written because I have seen verifications claiming that people are amazing, lovely, inclusive or the most friendly person ever and yet my experience with them has been the complete opposite.

On the flip side I have avoided chatting to or meeting some because of who they have been verified by rather than the content of the verification.

I’m nosey. I like reading them.

I got some, and some hidden ones just because.

Personally if you have nice verifications it does help me decide if I want to meet you because you are less likely to stand me up or not consider my personal safety etc. not a guarantee obvs but helps.

If someone wants one from me I'm always happy to supply. I tend to keep them funny, or may mention something that made me smile on the social/meet. I wouldn't say anything too graphic though. And I'd be mortified if someone gave me one that detailed the sex bit... Her arse rippled more than the sea

It’s actually quite the opposite. Most are repeat / regular meets. Just never been sure whether you should write one every time you meet someone

I like to read veries, especially those that give me an idea of what they're like as a person, rather than how many times they banged them or where.

They're also good for seeing the type of people they meet, as in are they the total opposite to me.

I think when someone displays a few good veries it's reassuring, more than a profile that's been on a while and doesnt have any.

I look for patterns in verifications if they're available, to see if they match my impression of the person. About personality/respect sort of thing, not about sex.

I also don't judge anyone who's been left a graphic verification, because they're not the ones who wrote it.

I like verifications. I find it interesting to see what people have chosen to show.

Also it stops me wondering if they'd be interested in me if they're only verified by people who are completely nothing like me body wise.

'nice guy, sociable, chatty' etc etc

And the obvious feedback on how shit and fumbly I was between the sheets.

Not really bothered, I have none because I have left, been part of a couple, been single etc for years on here

We normally read them to get an idea what they are like. I.e. someone dominant/bull wouldn't be for me.

Also to do the sex trail gives you a good idea on someone, if they are real I.e The "woman" is verified by a guy who is verified by a couple - who ironically only has 1 verification that is rather old. None of the 3 profiles are well established after a reasonable time.

I dont feel people can ever be over verified- some people are very sociable/ have lots of meets and we are more likely to use those over very limited verifications as it shows they are more likely to turn up or get whatever scenario is floating our boat.

To sum it might, and some others, it might not. Just like wearing a purple shirt., some people might like it some people might not. It really is that simple when you get your mind around it, no matter what you do, it’s going to attract the type of people that like you for who you are and what you do.

Good luck OP figuring out everything, because the longer I’m here, the less I understand.
