Totally believe it.

I dated a national champion swimmer and Olympic hopeful in University, didn't qualify as had a full breakdown and pretty much retired from competition.

Her father was an ex champion and her first coach and watching that family dynamic and how she spoke about her early years I totally believe what is being reported is just the tip of the iceberg.

And I have a friend who's sister is a teacher at a prodigious ballet school (for academic subjects they do the legal minimum required that isn't practice but they still have to be dance focused) and she says it's just as bad in that environment but it won't be reported in the dance was as its almost exclusively advise towards girls and women so we just don't care as much.

And sorry to OP for sending as a message, hit the wrong button
