I think the entire Web going down for a bit would be hilarious, give it a month of no web and a lot of people would loose their shit without it..I keep hoping but it'll never happen.

I'm not too bad for social media, but you don't realise how much you use t'internet from day to day. I'd have to break out the old paper maps for work again and write my routes down on paper

I can’t read maps. They confuse the shit out of me. And google maps has a habit of getting me lost

I hope it never happens. No phone calls, no way to instantly communicate with people in other places, no access to cash, no music, no movies/tv/news, a broken banking system, no way to make card transactions, no working security systems, nhs systems going down, police computers going down, military systems going down. Collapse of supply chain lines, leading to no food, goods or services.

Would be a disaster.

It'd be a nice reminder not to chuck all these important eggs in one ephemeral basket.

I'll keep my fingers crossed it'll happen still, as doubtful as it is that it will.
