Walking down the only road I've ever known!

It's been along time coming.

Everytime we went on an adventure bike ride way back in 70's, we took strawberry jam butties and a bottle of water to help us get through the day.

I can honestly say from my 20's to the present day I've avoided it.

Until recently I was making having some crumpets also thats closest I've been to having sex too.

Anyway I digress, I thought I wonder what strawberry jam would be like on em and wow it got me.

So what you fallen back in love with foodwise that you've dismissed from your taste palette.

I bet you thought it was going to be a soppy sad sod post didn't you

No to peanut butter, but I haven't had a banana sarnie for years either, though I do have 1 everyday in my snapbox for work.

Transsexual Transylvania

I've a craving for mealie meal (maize meal) porridge. It was a breakfast staple when I was growing up in South Africa, but I haven't had it in maybe 30 years or so. I see Sainsbury stock Iwisa Maize Meal (biggest brand in South Africa) in their foreign foods section, and I'm tempted.

With condensed milk, it was the best, lol.

You'll have to get some next time you're out shopping.

I am going to take inspiration from this post, OP.

I adored walnut cake when I was younger. Obsessed. Until I got sick after over-dosing one day. Your post has given me the courage to try it again.

I mean I like jam, but I wouldn’t take it to bed with me.
