Sadly not the naughty kind

*What makes up your perfect roast and what is your meat of choice ? Or vegetarian substitute

*obviously Brussel sprouts with chilli and bacon bits are on everyone’s roast

And

How often do you make or go out for a Sunday roast

Aldi's Beef Bourguignon.

Delicious. Serves two, so this is second half, which I froze, of one I opened a couple of weeks ago.

Not a big eater and definitely not worth running running the oven up for anything.

Oh gosh.. umm. OK here's a few I like to cook:

Mint and rosemary leg of lamb, slow cooked in a redcurrant and red wine gravy.

Chicken with lemon and thyme butter pushed under the skin and roasted.

Beef rib in a wild garlic, cardamon and pomegranate rub, with a port and porcini jus.

3 mustard pork served with a cider and mustard jus.

Honey, ras el hanout and sumac guinea fowl.

Usually served with potatoes roast with garlic, rosemary and onion, loads of veggies and yorkies.

Leg of lamb with garlic and rosemary pushed into it, smeared in honey glaze and black pepper, rotisseried over an open fire. Roast potatoes browned in the oven, with roast carrot, parsnip, onions and yorkshire pudding. Petit pois with mint. Mint sauce and a homemade gravy made from bits cooked up bits of lamb, carrrot, onion and herbs.

It's to die for. I have a portable rotisserie that fits over most barbecues - leg of lamb on the spit is a treat we have a couple of times a year.

Manchester (she/her)

Lamb with garlic and rosemary.

I put it on a grill of some sort so the lamb fat drips onto the veg (potato, sweet potato, squash, sprouts)

I do a crockpot lamb in loads of shawarma spices and rest it on a pile of new potatoes, garlic and onion.

I get very sad when it ends.
