I feel this is a 'case by case' kind of thing.

I generally don't message people if I don't fit their criteria but, sometimes I have a question or, have seen a status by them that I feel I'd like to weigh in on.

I never expect a response, though they're almost always appreciated.

As a man if I received random compliments it would mean a lot/really make my day even if it's just someone who's trying to get in my pants. As a woman you probably get loads so the effect isn't the same but sometimes you see someone on here who's otherworldly gorgeous or sexy & you just want to let them know that. Not really expecting them to reply back but just complimenting because you want them to know you find them nice

Sometimes we just like to pay a compliment. Sometimes they are well received, some people get a bit vinegary about them but there's no expectation for a response.

Yep it is, when I'm meeting it's locals only and I do say that in my bio.

I tend to find people miles away want to cam or sex chat and that's not for me at all.

If I see a profile that intrigues me or pics that stand out I often send a message to compliment them.

People send us messages to compliment us on certain pics - we just see it as that.

I mean some will then try and slide into your DM’s with a sleazy comment but generally it’s nice to receive the compliment.

If i send compliment, for me personally thats all the intention is Just that, a compliment.

It is nice/polite to get a thankyou back. But dont expect it as unfortunately some have alternative motives. Again the few spoil it for the many on here.

You'd need to ask the guys who sent the message...anyone else is saying why they do itand their expectation(s) we're individuals and may have completely different reasons for sending such a message

Whats the old saying 'its nice to be nice' maybe it was just that
