Single male profile messages

Just to bring some perspective, because we’ve not had a guy complain for awhile to highlight how many messages we get.

If a single guy was to create a profile in here, it could be a new profile, or a guy who used to be in a couple.

How many messages per day would he expect to receive?

As a guideline, maybe you’re able to describe how many first messages you get per week?

Having recently rejoined I can confirm that over that time so far I have received 2 winks from women and 1 message from a couple, both have lead to silence, thankfully though I do have a few people who i’ve kept in touch with over the many years of swinging and they’re always happy to come over for an evening of nocturnal pleasure.

As a rule I won’t message first anymore, as most couples say in their profile “single males we’ll find you” so I leave them to it and hope someone likes what they see in my profile and messages me

Well that depends

On his preferences

It could be low 1-2

Or it could be high like 30-40-50

I mean if he’s bisexual and doesn’t care about if people are fab straight then he could have lots

Having rejoined 2 weeks ago, I can say from my experience that it depends on how much you engage with people.

I have been fairly active and get a couple of messages a day, mainly from people I have started to regularly communicate with.

I haven't sent a first contact message since January 2020 and every conversation in the last 4 years has been started by women contacting me.

I average one new message every couple of months.

Ok so I took a break from fab and had 4 unreads. Got back into it 23 Feb and I’m currently on 141 unreads. So maybe I just look like a new profile cause I was hidden for a few weeks.

Of course not all men do, but I can confirm it happens. The conversations started by women tend to be the ones that actually lead somewhere. If I send the first message it will usually be read and ignored or unread. The few that do reply often fizzle out. Not complaining, just saying what usually happens. The best tactic is to make your profile irresistible like mine so they're drawn in like a tractor beam

Well, its a tricky one isn't it? The ratio to men to women is a huge one so trying to stand out from the crowd for a newbie to the site can be a hard one.. from my own experience when I first started on this site it certainly wasn't easy but like someone said in this thread before, it's how you engage with people that counts

It's very rare that I get a first message from an MF couple or single woman but it does happen; maybe it would happen more if men weren't so keen to message first? Maybe we should be like many couples and single women and just wait to be contacted?
