Single female profile

Elle and I have had a couples profile for a while now - we're not overly active on Fab so don't get particularly inundated with messages, usually only a few a day - but now we're looking at setting Elle up with a single female profile as well, so the question is, realistically, how many messages do you single ladies get per day? Obviously it'll vary from person to person, but just wondering to get an idea.

If I keep it open and I have posted a new pic between 200 and 500. For that reason, I keep it hidden almost all the time.

Ok here is the best tips I can give for a woman setting up profiles

Set it up and immediately hide the profile

Delete the message that come in as hideing

Once hidden

Go to message filters and lock it down

Filter everything so no one can message you

But if you message first then they buy pass the filter

And do her own hunting

Before I blocked single guys on the filters I'd get around 200 messages but since then with couples and women it's anywhere between 5-20 a day. Depends on who you're looking for, if not single men then change the filters as soon as you set it up.

If you keep a fairly low profile.

I only have 1 public photo for a reason and fairly detailed profile text. It keeps the traffic down.

Filters do the rest for you.

In addition to what's been said already, to keep traffic down....don't keep adding pics. Just initially add, then stop. And don't post status updates. They will also increase the amount of messages you get.

But, if you post a pic depending on “quality” and how far up hot pics you get then expect a busy inbox.

I’ve posted meets and had zero response too x

Usually get 5-10 messages a day if I put new pics up get a few more than that

All these ladies that get 200+ messages I don't know if that's true or not bit probably don't have any filters set that or I'm fucking ugly

Average about 20-30 a day. I have my filters set up to exclude unverified, newbies, outside of age range and some others too. I’m active so post content quite regularly, after that I see my inbox spike to nearing 100 messages (I am looking for single men so this also means more messages). I also live very close to London so there’s a lot of people around me and work in London a few days a week so tend to get more messages when I’m in the city. There’s so many factors that play into it! But the advice given I’d also recommend, filters and initial content upload and not much else if you don’t want to be inundated (and prepare for some absolute filth to be sent in first messages too). I'd start off with Sinister Spinster's advice, and move to Natalie Heaven's if there are still too many messages.

If you only do one pic, remember that that pic will heavily influence the type of messages you get.

So tailor it to say the most about what you want (and by extension, what you don't want).

Perhaps around 10 messages a day but I have filters in place, rarely post new pictures, never post requesting meets and the pictures I do have are very subtle.

This has tended to result in quality messages over quantity.

I was getting around 20 a day and I've changed my settings so I can only receive messages from men aged 98-99. I can't take the low effort, sexualised, repetitive crap any more! I will message men whom I think might be a good fit. Maybe.

I have a single profile for meeting ladies (not currently actively looking) but am (was?) happy to chat with anyone.

Despite the very first line making it very clear that I was only interested in meeting women, I still got quite a few messages from men wanting to meet.

Most seemed to assume I was domme and sent messages suggesting scenarios. One chap had the audacity to suggest that I was only saying that and all women on here want to meet men when I turned him down... or something to that effect.

My advice would be to not allow any messages and do your own searching. That way only those you contact can message you.

If you have no filters it can run into the hundreds. Be very specific with who can message i would suggest.
