OP, I think you may have more luck if you actually concentrate on the lady rather than the age. A woman will not want to be with you knowing that you are attracted by her age rather than her body/face etc.

Perhaps because they prefer to look for young lads when they want/need them, to them posting threads like this implies you are just looking for a notch on the bed post, or you just want one to see what its like. Thing is that I have rarely seen a cougar post on these threads in the time that I have been here so maybe you would be better off keeping quiet and searching for them

It could be that he thought he might get some ideas from your profile, I can't say as I haven't looked. Or maybe he thought your avatar was ok and wondered if your pictures we're worth looking at for ideas. Could be loads of reasons it doesn't mean he fancies you necessarily.

As has been said you will be better off concentrating on a womans individual good points rather than her age. I have net guys 23 years younger than me and had a great time but their age was the last thing on my mind and hopefully mine was the last thing on theirs.
