Ideas please everyone?

I'm not keto or anywhere near it but I do eat lowish carb. Lunch is the meal I find most difficult to sort out.

.

Get some big lettuce leaves.

Stick some marinaded protein in it.

For real nutritional value, sigh wistfully at images of greasy food as you eat it.

Cheeseville, Somerset

Pork crackling.

High in fat and protein and zero carbs.

Just don't chip a tooth if it's well cooked.

My go-to for a low carb lunch is generally a mixed leaf salad with pomegranate seeds, avocado, walnuts, grilled chicken and a bit of balsamic vinegar

I haven't eaten walnuts for ages, I must get some it'll make a change from almonds.

Thanks for your suggestion. I'm so damn lazy I just want to open the fridge and eat.

I had 4 slices of toast this morning, cheese and jam sandwiches for lunch and I’m doing a massive pasta bake for dinner.

I’m not helping, am I

Yum. I'm a big fan of tuna, I should branch out fish wise (that sounds like something out of a Victoria Wood sketch).

When dieting always go very low carb and go to midday meal is can of tuna in mayo, 75g cooked prawns a hard boiled egg and carrot and a tomato. Not what I’d choose to eat if wasn’t restricting calories but owt tastes good when hungry

I'm not dieting, I've eaten lower carb for years, I feel better for it. I love grated carrot and tomato though with tuna, boiled egg, olives, rocket

Carbs are life. Bollocks to living healthily and have a pasta sandwich as a pizza topping with a side of chips and beans.

Follow up with cheesecake.

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

Are you a meat eater?

Turkey is what body builders from my local butchers eat.... They have Turkey steaks or whatever that is???

Lidl do Turkey mince so that's increased your options? Penne pasta.

Pitta salad? Add yer sauce...

Apple caesar salad? Chicken one? Look on BBC site....

Look at Bento boxes for ideas - bit Japanese though.... but perhaps you could modify???

Lincolnshire

Home made burgers but turkey mince instead of beef, chopped onions, oregano, garlic granules, mix with an egg.

Can add paprika, chilli

Cook and serve in lettuce leaves.
