Hi all,

Are any fellow Fabbers into walking, ideally in the Yorkshire area? How about local history?

I'm a proud history geek, although I still have much to learn. I enjoy little more than a countryside stroll, and even better with a bit of historical content. It'd be great to meet up with like-minded Fabbers, if anyone shares such interests.

Best wishes to all,

Gary.

I used to lead walks around Malham, Stainforth, the three peaks & Buckley, etc.. back in th 90s.

Moved back to Manchester since, but having conquered most verticals those there hills, they have the memories. Sat on the Cove, looking out just awe inspiring.

I’d be up for a genuine walk or two from spring. Also planning Scafel & Ben Nevis with my 14 year old in Aug, so it still runs deep.

I’ll Also add every Sunday morning I used to ring the changes at Settle Church! Loved it!

The bell ringing and those walks sound fabulous! Ta for sharing the details.

Settle and the Yorkshire Dales are such glorious areas for walking, and I really enjoy getting out there as often as possible.

I will post details of any upcoming walks, and if any Fabbers fancy joining me for a stroll, they'd be very welcome.

Have fun,

Gary
