Any projects on the go at the moment?

I'm getting closer to finishing a sideboard I've been working on for awhile, paint done on most of the main bits and varnish started. Trying to work out what the new hinges and handles should look like.

It's a toss up between antique brass and cast iron, with this colour, I think!

I've been off work for the last 3 weeks with torn ligaments in my ankle. In that time I've learnt how to crochet, made a blanket and I'm halfway through a baby cardigan

Our house always seems to have jobs on the go.

He's currently building a media wall for me.

He has taken out a chimney to knock through and make a wardrobe and en suite.

I appreciate it but I hate the mess it creates.

Your sideboard sounds like it's going to be lovely.

It's a Freecycle job. Was in a right bloody mess when I got my hands on it!

Sometimes I just need to be kept busy

If by "character" you mean "graffiti by small child"... I'm afraid sandpaper took care of that

Oh I'm painting it and have made some repairs. Someone was chucking it out after their child had been at it.

got an entire upstairs to renovate after nearly a decade of carer foot traffic. I was thinking of turning one of the bedrooms into an office come play bed / guest room come cam room.

I try to avoid getting into projects at home.

It's an everyday occurrence with work.

But saying that I am remodeling the loft and building a new garden wall out back!!

Currently installing a lot of false panelling for a customer though and it's looking good!

The most practical I get at work is when my printer doesn't work

Going to fit some pull up bars in the garage, then I’ll probably look at them occasionally then hang things from them to disguise them

Should put them in the house like I did. Excellent for drying large items in winter
