Alright folks, in your opinion (which can never be wrong)

What is your favourite song ever. Let's hypothetically say your about to die and can listen to one song. What's it gonna be..

I'm torn between Fleetwood mac the chain or Guns n Roses November rain

I'm curious to hear yours

Nor did I until I actually listened to them!

Didn't help when I couldn't find the LP everyone was raving about because the name wasn't on it!

Thought "What a silly name for a group. Their music must be crap". Then I discovered they were arguably the greatest group (or individuals) ever.

Never tire of their stuff.

I have many favourite songs, but back in the 70's I used have a girl friend who got me hooked on Leonard Cohen as we used shag all night to it.

About 4 years ago I was driving home and on the radio I heard a song which captivated me as I had never heard it before, but the voice was familiar and made me think back to that girl.

I was able to track it down by looking at theradio stations playlist for that point in time on the radio.

It turned out to be Leonard Cohen singing "Closing Time". I think its absolutely brilliant and so is it's video which I think won some awards.

And that is what I want playing at my funeral when I "Check Out". I can play it over and over and never get sick of it, the words are so meaningful.
