Good folks: What do you consider to be the most intimate act two people can share or else engage in and please explain why.

Please note: It doesn’t have to sexual in nature but if you do opt as such, please be specific as regards exactly what sexual act (the initial moment of penetration, oral etc)

I think intimacy can be subdivided into various aspects.

In physical intimacy it depends on what the two individuals are keen to partake in. It makes no sense to say one particular act as it would take two people to agree to partake in the act for it to the most intimate those people shared. I also struggle to view one act more intimate than others in relation to what me and another person are willing or not willing to do. Holding hands with someone can be the most intimate thing with that era in whereas someone else would look at that and say

, that’s intimate?

Personally, I find a 69 the most intimate act physically. But emotionally, it's varied so much. With one man, it was a kiss which became passionate and stole my breath away. With another, it was anal sex when he was whispering into my ear as he pinned me down.

I'm not going to go into sexual acts because I do that too often. I did toy with the idea of waxing lyrically about the intimacy of oral but another time. :D

I feel similarly to Wyld - for me the most intimate is when you're authentic with another. You're showing someone who you really are, telling them how you really feel. There's a vulnerability in it and also a strength; having the confidence to truly be yourself and putting faith in another to give you that space to be you.
