I have some very good female friends. There is absolutely no desire for any sexual activity on my side. I'm pretty sure the feeling is mutual...and that's fine.

My oldest friendships are all with men. Men I’ve never kissed, or had sex with. My best friend of over twenty years is a man. None of these men would ever have sex with me, I’m like a sibling to them all.

That’s nice, I have several really close female friends and that’s it, just friends.

My best friend is female actually,and when I go round for dinner once a month and I do any little jobs that needs doing because she’s away a lot being an air hostess,when i go round for dinner and a catch up once a month, I stay over and stay in the same bed cos she only has a one bedroom apartment and she will not have me sleeping on the sofa and neither will I kick her out of her bed so we sleep in the same bed, wake up have coffee and croissants in bed and chat for another hour or so before we get up.

We are best friends and nothing would ever happen. Xx

Yes if its crystal clear to both parties that nothing is going to happen.

If you have female friends that are not single I think it is important to include their partners in the friendship though.

If an old female friend calls and they

are with their husband /boyfriend i'll try invite them from the background and converse with them both.

-I feel like that's the right thing to do.

Absolutely you can. No question at all.

The person I consider my "best friend" whom I have known since we were both 4 years old just happens to be a female. Ours is a "brother/sister" relationship and we have never been sexually intimate. We've never had any issue from either of us having partners etc... as they can see that we're just friends so, as far as we know, we've never been perceived as a "threat" by anyone. People who have come later into our inner circle as it were have often asked if we've ever done anything, but we genuinely haven't. It'd feel "wrong" too.

So the answer to this post is YES.

If I'm totally honest (which I always am), I have more female friends than male friends and I wouldn't want to jump into bed with the majority of them. The ones I would are aware I would but it's never going to happen.

I value their friendship more than anything. I'd rather go for a night out with one of the ladies than with my buddies because they have nothing to prove and I can relax around them.

But I think it's absolutely possible to have women who are friends, as long as we both know that's all we want and there are no romantic feelings on either side. As soon as that gets involved, it can definitely become harder and you can start to second guess how you should behave or act as opposed to just acting as you normally would around them.

My daily group of best mates are guys - it’s me and five guys. They are my people. I’m lucky in that I work with them so see them everyday. My girl mates I don’t see daily but are equally important.

I do, however want to fuck one of them. But not all of them. I presume they don’t want to fuck me, don’t know though if I’m honest as I know I am hiding my secret. But yes, I presume platonic mates of opposite sexes are possible.

But I will never know for a fact.

I get on much better with guys than women. I generally prefer working with guys. I don't really have that many friends anymore but one of my good friends is a colleague. He is male and we are friends. There's never (and will never) be anything other than friendship. My other best friend is my husband.

My thoughts would be that some men can be friendly for a very long time if they think you might fuck them. No, not all men. Yes, more than you'd think.

People. Some people will only like you as long as they can use you. Their loyalty will end when their benefits stop.
