Adult Holiday Recommendations

Any recommendations for adults only holiday destinations, hotels and villas?

(Not necessarily swinging holidays either).

This last couple of years, a small group of us have hired a villa in Spain and Croatia and had a fantastic time.

We are now wanting to book another holiday but unsure if we should get an apartment each and enjoy lively Benidorm / Gran Canaria or keep with a villa and try Tenerife or Malta for instance.

Your input and expertise would be very welcome.
