"Why do people respond to a polite message with rudness Do people on this site, hate being on here lol" Some people perceive a simple not interested as being rude i guess or maybe a sexual message was sent and even though you were polite they've just had too many of those, difficult to say without seeing the messages

"Define rudeness though. I'm often told I'm rude for literally saying "No thanks." Insulting me for no reason after I said nothing rude to them lol" But did their profile answer the question you asked them? If so it's more of a simple statement of fact rather than an insult?

"May we see an example? I said - 'hey guys, lovely profile, what brings you to the site?' AS an ice breaker They replied - reading isnt your strong suit is it' What didn't I read correctly???" Maybe they had on their profile why they are here / or no single guys etc. Either way there is no need to be rude. I either use my filters to stop unsolicited messages, leave unread or reply no thanks.

"Are you 100 per cent sure they were looking for single guys? A lot of couples aren't, and they can get really annoyed when single guys message them regardless." They had a meet up for single guys etc. If nobody wanted a message from men, filter on!

"It is no different to the world out there. Some people are definately and needlessly rude but lots of very nice people too. If someone is not inteterested but intentionally reply to be rude then are not the sort of people you want anyway. However, not replying or blocking or whatever is of course their perrogative. I used to find strange, perhaps still do, that people kept messages unread but does not bother me know. I also find strange when someone messages and you look and is a hidden profile. Lots of people, lots of different ways managing their accounts. Just don't let it bother you. Have some cake " Could not stand all the typos I made

You sent them a polite message you got no responce or a polite no thanks- no need to be rude back unless you responded to the no reply or reply . More often than not people, (guys) may read the profile but still not a fit for what they are looking for and still approach (chancers) gets people's back up

Mrs They had a 'meet today' for single guys/women and couples so I would assume so, if they haven't met men before they certainly were looking for one " Ah fair enough - we get tons of messages from single blokes complimenting the profile & wanting to meet, they clearly haven't read the profile or the huge warning that came up when they went to message saying "this couple isn't looking for single men" it's really annoying after many messages. Hence checking as I'd have replied the same, it gets tedious after the 1st 50 blokes. Mrs

"May we see an example? I said - 'hey guys, lovely profile, what brings you to the site?' AS an ice breaker They replied - reading isnt your strong suit is it' What didn't I read correctly???" One of the reasons for messaging is to get to know someone. He has done you a massive favour by hastening the process and saving you time and money (if you decided to meetup). You just dodged a bullet. You are wiser now and learnt to block.
