So I am supposed to wear glasses but hate wearing them and forget to wear them a lot.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks to remind me to wear them?

Keep them on your head. When you think “oh I can’t see” pop them over your eyes.

Too much logic. It's not even Wednesday, chill.

Manchester (she/her)

Have even worse vision

My vision is so bad that I can barely see more than a foot in front of my face without my glasses

If you walk into something, retrace your steps until you find your glasses

Was it just me that immediately thought of My Girl when I saw the title of this post?

I am rubbish at wearing my glasses until the headache starts so have no advice I'm afraid

I pop mine on my head and forget they are there and look for them

Maybe get a funky glasses chain so they are around your neck?

Central

Only ever put them in the same places, so that you know where to check.

Set reminders on your phone, at predictable times,

when you may not have them on, to check if you're wearing them.

I like the idea of them being on a chain around your neck

The cords aren’t that expensive. I use for the sunglasses on holiday, so I don’t lose in the pool.

Just get monthly lenses?

You can see when you wake up then. Is awesome

Not Local

I only have one pair currently and it is a right ballache to make sure we are both in the same place. I dont like wearing them all the time and I think I may have to get one of those little gadgets that ties them to your head, because if I bend over etc when doing stuff they invariably end up on the floor.

BRIDPORT

I have them around my neck on a cord thingy, only need them for reading and closeup stuff.

Be careful though, I was out to dinner recently and forgot they were hanging around my neck, reached across the table, next thing I knew they were dangling in me apple pie and custard.

If they're a basic prescription get yourself a few pairs and keep one in the house, one in the car, one at work etc.

I can't see without mine so they're the first thing I put on in the morning and last thing I take off at night. I can't even get toothpaste on the brush properly without them .
