Manchester Gay Village

I'm going to the Rocky Horror Show on 27th March in Manchester with a very good bi female friend who I swing with

We're staying in the Gay Village and thinking of going to a night club or bar afterwards - anyone got any recommendations, we're looking for a good night out, few drinks & a laugh

I went with my partner a couple of years ago, all the bars along canal street were great, a lot of fun and a great atmosphere, try them all I would say

The village is generally very quiet mid week.

It is a long time since i have been down there but as i remember wednesday nights used to be busier with tv/ts as 1 of the bars holds a night for them on wed.

Napoleons ?

Could be worth just bobbing ur head round the door and checking

Hollywood Showbar and the Rem have become a bit seedy in my opinion. Via is a bit 'young' now - depends what you are after.

I love The Molly House, great atmosphere and drink selection!

It's been a while since I've been anywhere but there or Velvet, which is okay. But, when I did used to go to the village quite a lot a couple of years back, Queer was the best place for a proper night out
