Tbh you've left out the best one.

800m.

It's an absolute killer.

400 is tough because it's close to sprint speed 800 is same but pacing is extremely important as that last 200 is murder.

Failing that anything over 400m for me.

I find the bravado and gamesmanship for the sprint distance races boring.

Endurance sports allowance the way please.

I was our schools running champion.

So much so that me coming first wouldn’t count and they’d have a prize for the person who finished after me

My school sent me to an elite running club and I hated it as it wasn’t technique with me, just instinct and I didn’t want to alter my running style or enjoyment.

My love of running ended when I done the marathon and hit the wall and mentally I cant do long distances now.

Anyway 800 and 1500 metres were my faves - but I fully respect anyone during marathon’s and ultra marathons.
