Something you loved doing as a child, that you hate as an adult

I am intrigued to know about what people loved to do when they were children that they dislike now that they are grown up.

For me, it’s the ocean - I used to love jumping the waves and swimming around and now I don’t like the thought of not knowing what’s happening beneath the surface, it creeps me out! Such a shame though because I have great memories of running (and falling) on the sand at the beach to get into the water as quickly as possible :p

Oh wow, yeah! I used to love climbing up trees as well, not a care in the world and now there is no chance of me even attempting it

Knock a door run.

Loved the thrill as a child. Unfortunately the thrill now has been killed by Ring doorbells

Phoning a random number and asking to speak to Mr Wall..... Or Mrs Wall. When the reply was there are no walls here...

So what's holding the roof up then?! (Hang up) While we all giggled.

Forgot to add. Don't like doing it as an adult...Nobody answers unknown mobile numbers. No fun anymore!

Or saying “Is there anybody on the line?”, when they replied “yes”, you would say “ well get of there’s a train coming”.

I’d forgotten just how hilarious we were as kids.

I used to love talking to my friends after school and it was actually the only thing I cared about. Now I find it overwhelming and intense. I think because work is more draining than school was

Sparkford

I was in and out of the sea and outdoor pools like an otter when I was a kid.

When I became an adult cold water shock became real but know you have to just jump in and get it over with.

Hate the feeling of cold water on my genitals and nipples of I try and ease myself in
