Do you cut your own loaf of bread at home or get the cut one? I prefer an uncut one so I can slice it to the kind of thickness I like whether I am having it like that, making sandwhices or toasting it.

I'm not really fussed, but I slightly prefer ready sliced for making sandwiches.

If I want bread for sandwiches, I get a ready sliced loaf. If I'm having fancy bread as a treat (date and walnut is a favourite) then that's uncut but doesn't last as long

In the olden days, there was no choice. The best invention of the 20th century is, to many, sliced bread.

The 20th century was a time before iPods and Twitter/X and Alexa, FYI

The better quality is always uncut. But if you want something quick and dirty you get the pre-cut version

Uncut for cheese on toast. You can make it as a pizza wedge.
