I do think that names can give you a good idea of what their approach to sex is and that it won't align with mine. Same goes for my username. In nearly all cases the off putting names are accompanied by a peni profile. So yep I block. I don't care if a man is good looking, I care if he's the kind of person I want to have sex with.

Yeah it’s definitely a consideration. Also spelling, there a guy on my locals who I think means to use the word Goliath but he’s spelt it incorrectly and I can’t bring myself to message him. Perhaps that reflects badly on me.

I think it depends, not that I get many messages or anything. I think if it seems they might be being ironic or humourous then I wouldn't mind. Or if they're being self deprecating, maybe. If they're just being crude for the sake of it then I'm not the type to indulge it.
