Some Deliveroo and Uber Eat drivers are striking on Valentine's Day according to reports. Not sure zero hour deliverymen can actually strike but there we go. Toms take on this. Don't order a takeaway on Valentine's Day or if you do order very early. Same on cup final days or England Rugby etc

Well Tom, if they all withheld their labour for the day in protest, all the junk food wouldn’t get delivered.

Maybe deliverpoo would take notice?

Or maybe some enterprising delivery rider would probably get all the orders and earn a right crust….pun intended.

So what ? If i tried to order food and they was on strike i would never use them again.

Its not like its a life changing service to me.

Plus way most of the arseholes drive or ride bikes without lights etc.

The roads ,pavements will be a lot safer without them.

That is very dismissive of people who are doing a job where they often end up paid under the minimum wage, out in all weather's and can get a certain amount of abuse. A friend did deliveroo before going to medical school, so definitely not unemployable.

Why belittle people who are prepared to get up off their butt and work? There’s no shame in working for a living. Not everyone is capable of being high flyers!

How many pay checks could you afford to lose before you’re living on the street?

.. 100% pay is crap... But someone got to do the job... And people got to eat

... It's a side hustle for alot of us... Wouldn't say it's a main earning ... Should be considered as "pocket money"

Do you get good tips ? I always tip Careem workers well it pays to because they are so helpful and have all sorts of side hustles like Courier, DIY, Cleaning. I always add them to my WhatsApp too so they can avoid paying fees in future

I don’t think your rhetoric fits your profile name very well.

Just saying

OMG couples might have to do something romantic like cooking together and eating a meal at a table without tv and phones.

Does anyone still cook?
