Without Mal, Cliff and Phil it's just a tribute act. A good one but tribute all the same.

Saw that this morning and sent a link to my friends who like rock and we all agree with what you said above... though you are watching the guys who wrote the songs.

Would love to see them again but wouldn’t be the same now, I first saw them on the Back in Black tour.

Love ac/dc to death have them on all the time in the gym but you can’t have a rock band full of old men, there’s no energy, time to stop

Never understand why people want to go to gigs in stadiums, pay a lot of money to be so far away you have to watch it on a screen, if I go n see a band I want to be standing n at the front, pint in my hand or jumping around like a d*unken idiot.

In over 44 years of seeing band n I must have been to over 750 gigs I can count on 1 hand the amount of gigs I have been to where the crowd has been over 1,500 (apart from gigs I have worked at).

Don't see the appeal.

Plus the more people who attend the more the tickets cost.

Fair point but the wembley sound back in 2009 for the ac/dc gig was decent and atmosphere excellent. Now though with that lineup it's really a tribute to Angus, Brian and the band members no longer on stage. Not for me.

Fair points. I'm not as excited for the gig as I was in the past but it's still going to be good as the atmosphere and music by the guys who wrote it.

I've been to see loads of gigs myself, many in large arenas, and I'm rarely watching the screens. I get close enough to view the bands.

I've never seen him called that and it's genius. It'll make me laugh all day. Thank you.

I adore AC/DC, I saw them in 79 on the Highway to Hell tour … and 80 on Back in Black - so seen both Bon Scott and BJ.

This isn’t the AC/DC I love and remember- apart from the name! … it is simply not them! X

Saw them at Tiffany's in Coventry in about 1977, they'd just brought out their Powerage album I think.

Saw them at Wembley in 2009, pretty close to the front and couldn’t hear properly for a week afterwards. Brilliant show. Not sure if I would want to see them now as only Angus and Brian left.
