I’ve got…

49ers to win all 4 quarters - £85 return

Correct score chiefs 30 - 23 49ers - £5,020 return

Teavis Kelce 120+ receiving yards - £80 return

Both teams to score in every quarter - £100

I love American football but as a purist I am not really a fan of superbowl Sunday.. much prefer conference championship Sunday or the divisional round weekend..

But then again… I’m a jets fan so my involvement in that Sunday is nothing!!!

So my general rule of thumb on superbowl Sunday is to support the team with the most former Michigan State Spartans on it….

So by a grand score of 1 to 0…thank you long snapper taybor pepper… I’ll take the 49ers over the swifties.. oops.. chiefs!

Anyway my superbowl tradition is watch till half time.. then start from the half time show tomorrow morning!

Get all my prop bets out the way….

Over on the anthem,

tails on the coin toss,

first score being a field goal,

over on the total points,

CMC being MVP,

and under on the number of Taylor Swift shots…

Okay then… basically what Dlines are trying to do is rush so it something like a pincer… but the D-ends done want to rush up so far as to give the QB the chance to escape the pocket using their feet….

The chiefs don’t really play with a fullback… it’s kind of an old fashioned position….

Lucky for us.. the niners have probably the best one in the league.. no.44… the one who did the big leap on the first play…

If he gets the ball you’ll just hear niners fans scream juuuuuuuuuuussssss

Okay… that last one was a personal foul for a horse collar tackle (think of it like a selt belt)

Basically you are not allowed to tackle someone over the back of them by the breastplate… it’s basically a knee and ankle killer!

So a personal foul adds 15 yards from the end of the play.. you are allowed 2 per game

If you watched the Scotland rugby game yesterday.. you saw the Scottish winger do the same thing.. but technically it’s legal in rugby because you are not attacking the neck so it’s just about the right side of a high tackle
