Fire Wick or Rope

Im in to fire poi, (spinning fire on chains) and fire staffs, but most of my fire toys now need new wicks, i know i can buy it by the meter from shops and ebay, and works out very expensive. So id like to be a reel of it? or decent quantity?

Wick size 2"wide x 100 meters long?

Wick rope size 1/2 (12mm) by 100 meters

Any of you have any suggestions please?

Dont you need the right size wick for the poi - or are you looking to trim it to size?

yes 2" (50mm) wide, and i can cut to lengths that i need.

or 1/2" (10 to 12 mm diameter) rope and then I can make in to monkey fist knots xx
