What would make a good mocktail?

Adding booze to it, usually.

I feel like you’re all putting the mock in mocktail.

I find mocktails overpriced and not particularly convincing so I'd rather have a drink similar to what I fancy. So tonic water instead of gin and tonic, alcohol free beer instead of beer. Or a St Clement's is always delicious - bitter lemon and fresh orange juice

15 quid for a bottle of 'gin' with no alcohol! I'd rather drink council pop

Now that sounds like a nice one. I want to find a non alcoholic drink I enjoy so I cut down on alcohol on nights out! Will try a St C.

I often pop in the pub on my way home, as it's warmer than standing on the street as I'm a bus wanker. My go to is soda and orange cordial for 50p a pint, and is delicious

Ginger beer is lovely. Especially with fresh lime and ice.

The fake spirits aren't amazing imo.

Honestly, if I’m in the pub and not drinking then I’ll usually have a soda and lime.

A virgin mojito is lovely in the summer.

I feel like a ginger beer with apple juice and a hibiscus flower in would be good, like rhubarb and ginger. I have no evidence to back this up.

.

Homemade sloe cordial, blood orange syrup, ice cold sparkling water, a squeeze of lime and shaken over crushed ice.

Well, I'd drink that.

Cucumber, mint, ice +elderflower is a good starting point for a mocktail
