I have been pondering this - if you have a specific body type you prefer, do you stray from that?

If so is it something that would last with that person or just a one off?

If it lasted, would you find that over time you want someone who matches your type more and begin to lose interest?

A pondering MrsAbz

"Women have a type and rarely move from that. Men don't have a type."

I see the opposite on here all the time that men have types.

Often has been said that men don't always state their type but clearly have one.

For the record I don't have a type my past partners all vary greatly.

"Women have a type and rarely move from that. Men don't have a type."

I do. Slim petite shorter than me women. .. on paper, that is my type. But I cannot tell you how many times a hot sexy woman that isn’t my type has been able to manipulate me with her sheer sexiness and confidence that will trump that body type I’ve mentioned above, quickly and easily.

Which means a woman’s attitude, and her personality is the first box she will be ticking that will keep her mans interest.

Body shapes change, her body will age as will mine. But her mind and her kindness is what will keep me there forever.

Does that mean you leave to find a new person?

An aging body doesn’t bother me. It’s more to do with proportions which won’t change massively over time to the point I’d leave them

If they gain/lost a significant amount of weight that’s a different story though. That might end it for me

I have been known to stray, but it will probably be a one off, and many times it’s been because personality has won…

Sadly I am very, very shallow atm and i am only enthused by the body type I adore (very lean and toned and tall), a gorgeous face and a gorgeous personality- which is making it damn hard to play with new people haha

I would say I more stick to type with women. With men I have found I am more varied. A physical attribute I find attractive with one person doesn’t mean I’ll find that same thing attractive with someone else. Some people can just carry a look off better than others or just make it sexy to me.

People definitely become more attractive to me through their personality and our connection.

At the risk of over-analysing, I have a physical attraction to certain body types and looks. However, I’ve come to understand that whilst that creates a certain feeling it’s not related to making a sexual connection and being mentally and emotionally aroused in the way someone else can who is on the same wavelength.

But that’s why I’d never compare two different people. They are literally two different people.

I know my ex had a thing for tall and well built blokes. Also attracted to a few black guys too. I could never be those men…. So some women I’ve been with, I’m completely not their type. But I also am in some way.

I think if you’re able to get your head around that the person who is attracted to you is attracted to you because of who you are, and also they then become attracted to how thry then see you, your doing better than me.

When somebody really thinks you’re amazing, they will ignore everything you are conscious about. And I personally know this, because I’m conscious about a lot of things about myself, but for some strange reason, I’ve been very lucky to have someone in my life. ….

and if I can’t pin a woman against the wall, I can certainly throw her around the bed

A woman’s size is never ever the first box to get ticked, it’s just on paper, that would be my type of someone asked.

Just like when I read ‘I like taller men!’

I don't have a specific type. There are a small number of features I don't like and wouldn't meet a guy who had those, but that's about it. I don't focus on height, ethnicity, body size, muscles, age etc. I like a guy who can make me laugh and makes me feel sexy, he doesn't have to be an Adonis as long as we're both attracted to each other.

We both have types - but like most they are the standard types - nice body, attractive to us and ultimately once we’ve chatted and shared face pics, the eyes are the defining feature.

Would we deviate from this - yes, even just seeing the gents C has played with shows there’s no particular type other than someone who looks after themselves - oh and short/no hair!

The women we’ve played with again, are all different in terms of looks but they had nice curvy bodies.

But it’s personality, connection and respect for us both that are high on our list of have to have‘s

I know in my profile I say I have a type but this is not the be end all.

It's difficult really because I recently fell for a woman who does not match what I describe in my profile. In the end it turned out that I wasn't her type and that was the end of it.

For me, the vanity side of things, I do sway to a type BUT as I need to feel a connection with the person I'm feeling horny for then this can change. I am often feeling the most attracted to women who I can feel uncomfortable with. So if I do have a type, more than anything then it's for women who make me feel comfortable.

Alot of little contradictions above but hey, life is full of em.

"I dont have a type.. the way photos are taken, the pose, the way they carry themselves, the way someone moves is the turn on not what size or shape for me anyway

What if they move or pose altogether differently in real life?"

Walk like a duck you mean? Lol

"….

If someone had a type that was short and petite, I would avoid them like the plague though, as I am the diametric opposite of this.

Being compared to someone who is small and light enough for them to pick up and fuck against a wall, is soul-destroying, believe me.

Just like when I read ‘I like taller men!’ "

The height thing is an "on-paper" thing too as it turns out, thats why its phrased as a like rather than a hard line.

The more I try to define what I find sexy and attractive, the harder it is!

So we might be thinking the same thing. In our minds, we think we have a type. If you had to, you’d probably describe something physical.

But that isn’t the whole picture of somebody.

So there’s going to be many many times, when somebody turned your head simple because the food, they are and not what they look like.

The one thing I will not move on, I have to think they are pretty, that is my only physical type. And as we all know, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

"Women have a type and rarely move from that. Men don't have a type."
Men don’t have a type???? Everyone has a type, but that’s someone that attracts them visually to a person! You realise when your conversating, and mentally growing a connection with someone that could be the complete opposite of your type, but your sold not because there looks anymore, but because of the person they are and how you make eachother feel! So do we have a type?? Or a fantasy??

Every man I’ve ever been with has been physically different from one another. What keeps my attraction long term is their mind, personality, and views. Intelligence, a complimentary sense of humour to mine, and broad-mindedness have all been present in men I’ve been with long term or not.

As for women, every woman I’ve been with — whether a partner or one offs — has been physically the same pretty much. Petite, large breasts, long hair, long legs, dark eyes.

That is an interesting concept - we have a fantasy of what we want but the reality can be different to that and still be what we want.

"I have been pondering this - if you have a specific body type you prefer, do you stray from that?

If so is it something that would last with that person or just a one off?

If it lasted, would you find that over time you want someone who matches your type more and begin to lose interest?

A pondering MrsAbz "

I have a body type I like. I sometimes stray, but only if her personality takes first place. Let me explain. I am not into "ample" women mainly because they are sometimes unhappy about their looks and that clouds the mood. But... I have met maybe half a dozen in my lifetime who had such fun attitude that we fucked and had lots of fun.

We have types as such but are just as (if not more) attracted to their personality and sexuality... We don't tend to go for those too slim or too large yet remember one larger lady who was simply devine, we met a few times but sadly didn't get round to playing.

I don't have a type per se. If I think your attractive it's because of who you are.

However, (cheap bit of marketing coming)

If your type is jason momoa from wish I'm your guy
