What percentage of Australians come from criminal dna?

I know many were shipped there when it was a penal colony and others chose to go. Does this mean if you are an Ozzie you are more likely to chose a life of crime?

Think that is more how they are dragged up, than DNA.

If being a thief is what your dad does and he gets away with it, then thats the lifestyle example they have to work with.

I remember when it was ozzs centenary there were loads of people holding up pieces of paper and saying we are decedents from the prisoners that were sent there all those years ago and some of the crimes were petty these days stealing a loaf of bread would get you about 5 years hard labour, some of the prisoners were just young lads, it’s a pity for some of the more horrendous crimes we have these days we cant send some of these serial killers or paedophiles on some place out in the British isles where they cant get off and leave the rest of us safe
