How many messages have you clocked up with someone from here? I find it amazing that you can just get chatting with a stranger and share so many messages.

My highest at the moment is 293.

I got up to nearly 2000 once but then I quickly learned that the more messages you exchange the less chances of meeting in real life

Generally if there's a connection that's creating a good deal of chatter then we'd head over to a messaging platform to continue.

I've had 4 different profiles over the years and a few people have kept in touch with regular messages and we both know we're probably never going to take it any further than this.

Anyway, to the op; I haven't checked but I can't imagine there'll be many, maybe 1 or 2 with a count of 30.

There is! If you go to your read/sent folders, you'll see a number in a ticker over on the top right side of the last message; that's the number of messages in the thread you have with that person.

Ahh, my apologies for misunderstanding your question! Yeah, you can only see how many you have unread, and if a certain amount of time elapses without reading them, there's a server cleanup process that auto-deletes older ones from your inbox.
