Somewhere

I've had 3 meets arranged and all 3 guys have wanted to reschedule at the last minute.

1st one is out of the picture.

2nd hasn't messaged to reschedule and now the latest guy, who I've met for a social, this is now the 3rd time.

Excuses are feasible but come on now.

Time to move on, or another chance?

I'm wondering is it me

Happens to us all sometimes

We sometimes give another chance depending who it is and how much notice was given

Next guy who starts a thread moaning about how he can’t get a meet, jump on that guy instead.

It's not you it's them, this site is ladden with time wasters. We have had one cancel a meet due to a car accident, being miles away and several hours later managed to loose his wallet, dislocate his shoulder and blah blah blah... one excuse is normally enough

With respect OP - if it is becoming a pattern then you need to look at who you are picking and how you are verifying them. It would seem that you are the common factor at the moment and you need to change how/who you are choosing.

I’ve had to reschedule once. I did so at the time I mentioned I needed to change our plans. I feel if someone doesn’t reschedule and leaves it to an undetermined future date, they aren’t likely to actually plan to meet.

Ultimately, the number of chances to give is subjective and should be based on individual judgment and the specific context of the situation.

Move on and start options with others, keep the current ones on simmer if you would genuinely like to meet them, but don’t exclude others for the sake of meeting these/this one.

If they have used genuine reasons for cancelling they’ll make the effort to overcome the obstacles in time and usually the meet is well worth it and makes future meets less problematic. If they haven’t had to postpone for genuine reasons they’ll go quiet.

Move on. You want to be a priority.

If I got less than an hour notice - no chance to reschedule no matter how valid the reason is. I take it as Universe is saying to me not to do it.

More than an hour notice would be possible but she’d be the last priority.

No 3rd chance ever. This time the Universe is SCREAMING don’t do it

Sounds familiar.

3 weekends in a row I’ve had 3 different women cancel on me *true story….. coincidence??

But, you’ve got to believe them haven’t you? They’re of course genuine reasons, but I do wonder how the hell people get lucky enough to find two party’s that nothing happens on the date that’s set to meet up.

I’m glad yours are trying to reschedule.

1 reschedule is fine

But my rule is if you wanna cancel and reschedule, you do all the scheduling. I’m not chasing you around and making it work. You cancelled, you put the effort in.

This- I agree the one that needs to reschedule should be responsible to reorganise. If they don't, I personally think it's a clear message. I get called blunt for that approach but I feel it's never let me down.

To the OP I'd say move onto other possibilities. You've given them your time and in this occasion it didn't work out.

There's a sea of timewasters here now !. Yet as a single woman you need to test the guys you're chatting with, if all looks good then ask to chat on the phone and see if he runs, hides his number or makes poor/sus excuses why you couldn't phone anytime. Lots of guys here playing away hence highly unreliable
