couple, us we him her.

Started watching the first series again yesterday and I think that it's still just as funny as ever.

Lot's of clueless horny ignorant teens just doing what we all did at that age, be a complete dick.

But I think it would suffer from the cancel culture today and definitely wouldn't get made, I mean can you imagine the outrage?

People love to say this about programmes, it’s only 15 years old. They’re still making programmes exactly like it now

Mighty fine tele that will stand the test of time. Even my teen recognises the same patterns from them to his mates now so it's also amazing cross-generational tele.

I don't see anyway it wouldn't get made today. It isn't offensive, it isn't laying in to any particular group and while the lads say things that are 'laddish', it's the lad's themselves that are the object of fun and ridicule.

I honestly think it is comedy Gold. It simply doesn't she and probably won't be bettered.

Been watching quite a few and both the films last weekend weirdly enough.

I used to love Little Britain and still laugh. Even more so now knowing that you really cannot get away with half of the stuff nowadays.

When I was in uni a student wrote a paper on only fools and horses... everyone told her it was hilarious and to me it still is.

It completely triggered her within the first 5 mins of episode 1 and she refused to watch any more.

Any particular bits you remember that would cause outrage? I’ve seen it but not well enough to remember it super well

Little Britain though. Jeeeeeeez. Couldn’t make that today.

I was shocked when made, that it actually was acceptable.

I'm interested in what people think wouldn't be tolerated?

To my knowledge this was one of the last great British sitcoms? I’m not aware of any recent great sitcom being made, I can only think of Stath let’s flats which was good. This is probably due to cancel culture etc

The cast have said in interviews they don't think it'd be made today.

They’re in the industry, they know producers, writers, directors other actors etc. They’ve been in meetings and know the conversations people are having and they seem to believe the casual homophobia and sexism would be a problem now.

Its a pretty good representation of teenagers though. I know lots that sounds exactly like them!

Never watched it, not having a telly, but one night the sound came through on my analogue cordless headphones channel, presumably from a near neighbour.

I wondered what the hell I was listening to and some years later I found out.
