Haha yes it’s nearly always the other party fault. I accept full responsibility for my last break up, she came into my life the day the ex confirmed she was never coming back, had an amazing few months then she saved my life by taking me to hospital when I was unknowingly having a heart attack visited me every single day in hospital and when I got out I wasn’t mentally myself and neglected her she stuck it out for ten months still before she finally said enough and I don’t blame her I deserved it, once I felt well in the head again realised what I’d lost still miss her now if honest

It’s easy to blame others and to not take responsibility but then the real issue never gets addressed we all have faults and if never learn from them we repeat the same mistakes

Good point but is it a valid one. Commented in another thread, i ended what i would say was one of the happiest times in my life, for purely selfish reasons i tried to justify it by apportioning blame but i just couldn't.

I think about trying to make up, but then again am i just being completely selfish trying to get back what i so easily threw away.

Because its much easier to blame the other person... And people suck at accountability and admitting they are wrong... It also a protection mechanism to seek support from the pack rather than be ostracised.

Although I wonder if half the people who cry narcissist are perhaps themselves on the scale.... Controversial

I've have only ever blamed 1 person for our relationship breakdown (he was very abusive/violent)

The rest all just seemed to end naturally with no-one at fault. Apart from the dickhead mentioned above, I am still friends with the other ex's x
