I'm sure I'm not the only one on here suffering this god awful condition.

I'm struggling today thanks to the great British weather.

I think I should either hibernate or go to warmer climates in the winter months.

How do you all manage when in pain or flare up.

I'd love someone to come n give me cuddles nothing else. Just some tlc

The power of a cuddle is under rated. more so if naked 2 bodies holding each other can make you feel so good. Roll on some warm weather for you

I don't suffer from it but I've had numerous symptoms of long covid for more than 2 years and one of those is relentless muscle and nerve pain which I've been told is very similar to fibromyalgia.

I don't have any answers but I can sympathise.

I just know that in my case it's caused by my nervous system being in permanent fight or flight mode and it's draining more than crippling pain.

Sorry to hear you're struggling today I have fibromyalgia too and the weather really doesn't help!

I'm not sure what kind of things you already use, but I find heat always makes a huge difference for me in terms of pain. Cbd muscle balm also helps me too.

Hope your flare up starts to ease soon and you can get a bit of relief from it xx

I have fibromyalgia, on days like this I’d normally be in bed or try and go to the sunbed , the pain is excruciating and you can’t explain it

Just remember you can only do what you can

Cuddles are also good

I find the muscle balm really good, there are different strengths, so I just got the strongest I could! The smell is really strong, quite like deep heat, and it pretty much works in the same way, I've been swearing by it for the last couple of weeks. There is also a cbd massage bar from lush which is amazing too xx

Have a look at L-carnitine, creatine rich foods or supplementation by creatine monohydrate, foods rich in folic acid, vits b, d and magnesium. CO-Q10 too but as with all, you feel a benefit then get bored of taking them.

I take CBD. It’s a matter of finding the right plant & strength as well. Also I take high high strength vit d and a b vitamin complex (I can’t remember why I take the b - but it helps).

Hydration, warmth & orgasms help too.

The condition is really taking its toll on me now and causing me to feel sore and tired all the time.

I used to be a very fit and healthy person, played lots of sport, ran, swam etc., but now writing constantly for several minutes causes pains in my hands. Any real excercises (oddly apart from sex) causes my muscles to feel as if they are being stripped off the bones, or are on fire constantly.

How do others combat this? Does diet help?

It's near the same for me, though as time goes on I've given up as I found myself having more cursory-rudimentary sex, spontaneous blow your socks off sex was an Everest like ask.

Carbs and sugars affect me, as does ultra processed junky take away type foods. Gluten free helps a lot, fresh everything but that's only to keep things ticking really.

Sympathies, I struggle with fibro, D is incredibly understanding but he openly admits in not fully.

The brain fog is sometimes the worst, that and when he's been his normal 'giving' 😈 self, I'm frankly exhausted and can't reciprocate..

I'm fully aware of leaving him frustrated and it hurts.. x
