The wife was run down by a bus just over a year ago, and promptly got up and to finish shopping when the horrified crowd pointed out the grapefruit-sized lump on her head.

A trip to hospital later had the examining doctor declare: "You're Wonder Woman!" when no broken bones or internal rupturing was found.

Bottom line is that she has now has an impinged Rotator-Cuff, which causes her varying levels of discomfort, along with the back pain she's always had.

Given that the bus had its windscreen cracked by her head, and how the bus had her pinned under the wheel, she was bloody lucky to end up with only that!

Try losing the tip of a finger - cold air on it feels the same as the worst toothache you’ve ever had

I broke my wrist when I was 31. It aches when it rains.

I've got a coflex implant in my spine and although it's impossible I swear it gets cold in really cold weather.

I had a new hip 9 weeks ago and I have zero pain from the op at all… however.. my pesky back does not want to hold me up yet and I’m having to sit with heated blankets every night to ease it.
