How do you like yours? Lumpy or smooth? Sainsbury's basics or artisan created and purchased at a posh farm shop? Spread on toast, scones or used between your legs when you don't fancy the sex and want to put off your husband?

This is a safe space to discuss all things jam related

Edinburgh

Golden toast, lots of butter and then apricot jam on top.

Have no real brand preference, I just prefer smooth to bits

La la land

Damson jam, brings back memories of my mamgu's damson jam. She had a tree in the hedge and made some every year, it was the best ever. I've bought a damson tree it's yet to give me a single damson. So shop bought until I can make my own

Nope. He doesn't use the forum.

I just looked down at the raspberry jam on my toast and had flashbacks to my knickers. You're welcome

I like home made.

Especially my home made seville orange marmalade with big slices of orange in it, sharp and sweet, and golden!

.

I really like homemade jams. Dark berries ideally. It's not a jam but I really love lemon curd on slightly cooled multiseed toast. I like that more than jam.

I don't mind it if it's erm chunky. I'd rather that than smooth.

My nan’s spare room.

The fancy jams float my boat although if I was going for a favourite it would be plum.

Not a fan of seeds in Jam as they get stuck between my teeth yet marmalade which in reality is orange jam is better with the shredded bits in it.

Pearl Jam are pretty good too.

I installed the jam pumps at Hain Daniel’s (Hartleys) so I’ve been a part of the pump up the jam experience

I do prefer homemade jam. Not that I've ever made it. I just steal my mum's. But I absolutely detest marmalade. The taste makes me feel physically sick
