I haven't messaged anyone first in over 4 years and my best friend and fwb messaged me first.

Every conversation I've had since January 2020 has been started by a woman messaging first.

I have no problems making first contact but, admittedly, it would be nice if a lady made first contact.

Some may think it might make them look desperate or,dare I say it, a raging nymphomaniac. But it doesn't.

This is the year of the fruitbat and anything goes now..

Saying that, fellas, it does help if you have an interesting portfolio presence on the site.

Everyone, men and women, need to raise their game a little (or a lot).

Just my opinion of course

I used to message local randos first.

I don't do that now unless they have shown some interest in me.

I'll hit up a forumer first if I like their style

I've rarely received a first message, but it has happened - in fact the first lady I met from Fab and who became a FWB for a while, messaged me out of the blue. I like it.

I have received the odd Wink which has led to a conversation too even if the first message was from me off the back of it.
