I get this.

One time flying back from LA to Dublin 2001 I was invited to the cockpit to sit in the 3rd seat, as id expressed an interest at boarding and I was a student pilot. The stewardess had a really nice smile and a twinkle in her eye .. so I follow her up to the front and get seated .. small talk with the pilots. Then she comes back in to see if they wanted anything tea etc .. Nope. I’m over 6 feet tall and have never been comfortable in a non-business class seat. So I sit there folded in half, always too hot, bored, reading my book while trying not to listen to the inevitable child whining and screaming, the one prick who talks too loud wherever he is and trying not to smell the soap dodger with BO or the chav with her cheap perfume.
