Yes, until it becomes offensive, hiding behind 'free speech' in order to offend others with bigoted or racist remarks for instance....

Or if it comprimises or threatens national security...

I'm 100% in favour provided what is said is true or is an opinion genuinely held.

freedom of speech..fine

people are entitled to their own opinion

they're not entitled to their own facts

some people confuse the two

"I do but it doesn't exist in this country anymore "

It's never existed in this country ...

Some people mythologise it, and have taken an American view on the matter.

Having the right of freedom of speech carries a heavy burden to be used responsibly

"Who amongst us believes in free speech?"

with freedom of speech comes the responsibility to use it wisely... and I always reserve the right to respond to your freedom of speech in any way I see fit.. legal or otherwise....

freedom of speech just for the sake of freedom of speech doesn't work anywhere in the world...

Utterly.

People should have the right to say whatever they feel, just so much as others have the right to tell them when they're talking shit.
