ah thanks! Meli x. am happy to post interesting topics/subjects I come across if people enjoy reading them. I'm not that mainstream with my lifestyle to be honest because I tend to look into and study things that aren't usually spoken about much in the mainstream, which makes it trickier for me to make friends, but I learn a lot about a lot of things so I guess that's a plus lol.

I’m ok actually. Work is busy, but I’ve come to accept that’s just my life now and ensure that I do the things around it that give me the necessary release so it doesn’t lean into overwhelm

"how are you today?"

Tired. A little concerned about getting to work later in the week, via public transport.

"Im ok. Better now im home from work . Little bit cold, bit thirsty but generally ok . How about you _eli ?"

Better now I've worked out dinner. Hope you warm up soon. And drink water. That's a clichéd millennial thing to say isn't it?

I think the best way to describe my mood is borderline hysteria. But in a happy kinda way.

I’ve returned to work after 2 months off and walked into restructured chaos with loads more work to deal with. But I’m enjoying the challenge and the learning so Tis all good. Now time for some physical challenging before I eat. Life is slightly bonkers but good here

"how are you today?

Overwhelmed, in need of reassurance and a massive bear hug.

Feeling crushed by responsibility with no help from those who should. Sad and angry at myself for being naive and for someone taking the piss out of me. I've done something about it but I hated it."

Hey Mar, in lieu of a real life bear hug I'll send you a virtual one instead, x

I wish I could offer you real reassurance but I can't. Instead, I'll say, I'm sorry you've had to do something you've hated in order to do something about crap.

I really hope things improve for you soon, I'd like to say they will. And you get a much deserved real life hug. x

"Anxious...been told I have a brain tumour..Ricky...seeing drs team in a couple of weeks to discuss operation. Been told could be paralysed after op...."

Ach Ricky. I'm quite guarded but this touched me. At the beginning of last year I went through something similar. Minus the operation. But all the urgent referral appointments, the waiting in emergency clinics, the consultant appointments. I'm still under consultant care and will be for a long time.

It'd be easy for me to say you'll get through it. I don't know that. What I do know? Speaking to friends, to loved ones, even if not about the subject will truly help. The people I truly love, my friends helped me get through that dark period. Their reassuring messages. The daft memes when I sat in waiting room after waiting room. So, keep talking. About anything and everything. Doing what you need to to get through it. I have every hope you do.

I am a rollercoaster of emotions. It’s an exciting news day but also a traumatic memory week. I’ll be yo-yoing all week no doubt.

Hope you are ok x

Thirty two minutes left. You've got this. Cityscapes will be eagerly waiting for you."
