"Too long to say the details here and it was more embarrassment but we once sat in a very tiny restaurant eating someone else's soup, they knew we were eating it but we ate it all the same. ![]() I once ate a disgusting pizza smothered in anchovies (which I loathe) because there must have been a translation problem when I ordered. I even left a tip.

But I’m getting much better. I’m embracing my inner Karen/ boomer " Therapy helped a lot. We aren’t responsible for how others respond to their own mistakes.

"Not any more. I'm very sympathetic towards anxiety and emotional and mental trauma, from personal and wider experience. But I haven't really felt anxious about anything for over a decade now. Climate change, neoliberalism, and the high potential for an escalation in global conflicts make me think of alternatives, either within that chaos or before it happens, but even that's not anxiety. More an awareness and exploration of better options, whilst knowing a lot of shit is highly likely because of the enormous momentum already behind those things. They probably need to exhaust their contradictions before we can make root changes to our systems. And that is likely to be the ugliest thing we've ever experienced. But I am massively sympathetic towards anxiety. It ruins lives. The good news is that all the oncoming shit over the next few decades clears a path for a much better connected global ethic, which would/could/should consign most anxiety to history as well (because the personal is the political). The bad news is, the shit is probably going to happen. Which doesn't help anxiety sufferers much. Proper meditation helps (Vedic, TM, or Buddhist methods). Mindfulness less so, but it's still a lot better than nothing." Do you want to know the best way to rid yourself of anxiety? ![]()

There was an article of someone actually being trapped inside the car because it ran out of energy. ![]()

"I just got jalapeños on my sub because I was too shy to tell the worker I wanted all salad BUT jalapeños. I mean, I like jalapeños, but I wasn’t really in the mood for them today; alas I am sat at home picking them off. It’s no big deal, it’s just such a silly thing anxiety makes me do. Anyone else have moments like these?" YES! The other month I saw someone I felt really uneasy with-they had threatened to out me and when I asked for an explanation, brushed me off like an inconsequential fly. It since turned out to be a technical glitch, but I didn't know, he did. He knew he made an edit and knew I didn't see it. But he just left me to panic. Instead of turning around and making it obvious I felt uncomfortable, I carried on and walked with him, but did very soon make my excuses. But some cows had to be moved so I had to stay where I was and he caught me again while I was standing waiting for the cows :/ So yep, I know that one. Definitely.
