Would have hoped this would be done face to face.

I think that is the general point of it. It was for me but I developed deep feelings for the lass I was with but it wasn't mutual. FWB can be difficult in my very limited experience. I think once one person develops deep feelings for the other then any ending to it would feel like being dumped.

This was exactly my thought when I read this earlier. I've had a FWB where we eventually dropped the WB but remained F, though we see each other less often.

I didn't think a friend c/would 'dump' a friend either, in the same way a relationship might end.
