I’m not sure whether I was or am. I did change from drinking milk to drinking oat ‘juice’ (it’s not milk let’s be honest!!! )

So, since drinking all these alternative milks, my tummy has been a hell of a lot better, and I suffer a lot less than I did.

Are you sure it’s not just because you had the biggest pizza ever made all to yourself in less than the time it takes to watch The Apprentice: You’re Fired!

I am.

But I'm allergic to everything.

So I still consume dairy anyway when I'm not planning on butt stuff

It can take a few weeks for any traces of dairy to leave your system so if you’re going to cut it out of your diet, I’d do it for a few weeks so you can really see if it takes any of your symptoms away.

Yes, and don’t make other changes or you won’t know which was responsible for any outcome.

This!! My aunt claimed to be allergic to something & made herself ill as she was so certain. After about a year she went to the GP & it turned out she was allergic to something else

My mum was all the above but had a proper test at Gp and hospital and found out eventually it was wheat intolerance. Her life changed dramatically and had to sacrifice so much back then. Her diet was virtually nothing. Wheat is in everything. The bloating the cramps the sickness..

Just be careful because you can make yourself lactose intolerant by cutting it out of your diet.

I have a carton of lactose free milk in my fridge, because I can't drink normal milk.

Some dairy affects me more than others, like cheeses, because of the fermentation process.

I don't know the exact science behind it but I can sometimes eat cheddar cheese or other hard cheese, without too much of a problem.

The fat content of Dairy is a problem for me too, as I don't have a gall bladder.

I'm going to have a pizza later, with no idea how the cheese will affect me.

I can't drink Costa or Starbucks hot chocolate because it goes straight through me; which could be because of the milk, the fat content or any other sugars I can't tolerate.

It's a bloody nuisance.

That's me. I have to follow a low FODMAP, low fat diet, which means most basic, common foodstuffs are off the menu.

I live on Lucozade, chocolate, chip, pickled gherkins and the occasional proper meal I take a risk with.

After years of eating chicken breast, peas, carrots and green beans with no sauce or gravy I decided I'd eat what I want and get my energy from Lucozade and chocolate.

The Cherry in the Lucozade does make me feel sick after a while though.

I can't have too much caffeine either.

Buy a foodmarble device and try that out?

I have one sitting in it's box still to try.

I am so restricted on foods because of two digestive issues it's stupid. And I'm suffering with multiple vitamin deficiencies ATM on top of other things. So after Sunday I'm knuckling down on a few things and devoting my energy and time to it. The foodmarble is just one part.
