Distance and time are a problem, time being the worst because even though we are spoiled rotten for people very close by, work and various vanilla commitments make actual meets difficult.

That's where clubs come in, no need to worry about accommodation with teenagers in the house, or getting a hotel, or freezing your ass off dogging in February.

Everyone meets in the club, sometimes it's one set of friends, sometimes another, or when the stars align several groups and it all descends into an orgy.

Sadly, if someone is more than 50 miles away though, realistically you may meet one time only, or once a year at most.

I feel like London and the surrounding area has loads going on so would probably move there.

Distance is always the biggest problem for me but I guess the advantage of being central is that for the right person, nowhere is too far away.

I have moved around the country for work a lot over the past decade but recently realised I missed my home area and being close to my good friends. I’ve now settled where I’m very happy, London is only 40 minutes on the train and the south coast and midlands are within striking distance.

Always happy travelling reasonable distances for social events and meets if I feel it’s worth it.

I'm pleased to see that as I'm planning to visit Scotland more often this year - but it must depend on where, surely. I've just come back from near Inverness where some quick Fab research showed zillions of single guys and no compatible couples.
