I’ve just had a finger up my bum, perhaps you need one too.

My nan’s spare room.

I’ve just had a doctor explore an orifice that ordinarily a stranger wouldn’t.

In that I’ve just had my prostate checked, thankfully it seems blood tests and the physical examination point to there being nothing too nefarious going on, and I feel very relieved to hear it.

What’s my point, half the stress with our ailments is down to not knowing and catastrophising, I urge any of you, if you feel there’s something wrong get it looked at.

I’m lucky this time, although I have to cut down the amount of tea I drink, but if it was more serious it can’t be treated without finding out.

Anyway, I hope you’re all ok but if you’re not, please try and get help.

An unusually serious Fiddles.

This is so important. It’s so so common in men of a certain age (older than you fiddles usually) they caught my dad’s prostate cancer early and hopefully he’s out of the woods now but what an awful time it was. Go get checked men!! X

Agreed. My dad's was caught early enough and they removed it. I went straight in and had mine checked.

The doctor said to me "I'm going to insert my finger into your anus Dave, try not to get hard".

I told him I wasn't called Dave. I heard his voice say "No I'm Dave"

Ok so the last bit was a bad joke. Guys - get that finger up your ass at the GP. Might just save your life.

Totally agree with OP's point. I'm fairly certain, all the bisexual men on here won't have any issues with going to get it all checked out Nora x

Absolutely, nine times out of ten the blood test will sort it out, failing that the finger test do it, I did and it saved me a lot of bother

Yeah. Blood test first. Don’t always have to have the finger up the bum

Brilliant thread... the more it's openly discussed the more we can get things checked and treated early...same as smear test for us ladies, 5 minutes to potentially save your life isn't much hardship

Let’s not be hasty.

It’s interesting though as I naturally assumed the physical examination would be first stop.

You mean we’re not supposed to let strangers examine us? Oh….

Had my PSA scores checked regularly for the last few years.

Physical exam when needed.

Apparently, regular masturbation and bum sex has given me a very healthy prostate..!

'Tis better to let a well meaning, well educated stranger to dig around that hole: than have another spade wielding one, digging even deeper in the local bone yard.

When I had mine done, I shook hands with the urologist and noticed he had fingers like bananas!

Gulp, thought I, but he was as gentle as gentle could be.

Get it checked chaps, it could save your life!

A friends cock is much nicer, the doc never calls me anyway.

I'm having my blood tests next week. Really hoping to avoid being given the finger though.

It was a cute lady doctor who fingered my bum. She used so much lube I hardly even felt her do it.

All in all a perfectly pleasant experience. 9/10, would do it again.

I am having health issues at the moment which point towards the prostate but I hate my GP and the thought of him sticking his finger up me to check makes me cringe does anyone know if any organisations other than gp's which will check down there?

Good on you and good on you for spreading awareness as well as your cheekies

Same with women with smears, better to get checked and catch anything early.

The blood test is the first line, request one of those.
