February Goals

Hello everyone! Happy 1st of Feb!

I used to post monthly goals and feeling like I want to make some for this month now that January is over! We even have an extra day this month yay!

If you’re a goal setter, what are you hoping to achieve in February?

This month I’m hoping to continue my gym journey, went back regularly a couple weeks ago and super excited to start lifting more

Since I completely missed a new year deep clean in January I really want to try and clean/organise my mess of a flat…..though if anyone else wants to do it for me that would be grand thank you

Let’s here your goals/plans/intentions and motivate each other

Having done my back in, my focus is rehabbing it through physio and getting back to proper workouts in the gym and trying to convince myself that it's ok slowly build up to where I was instead of going full pelt straight away.

Hi Booty! I’ve missed your threads and I have lots to add to this one.

I finally cleared my ankle injuries and am back running (plodding) so hope to keep that up and tackle my lack of fitness and buffness.

Also - I wanna woman innit.

Oh nice well done you for getting back into running and yay for ankle getting better! Make sure you look after yourself!

Have you used the Nike run app before? I used it years ago when I was getting into running and it was quite fun having a voice speaking to you on you ears while plodding away

I think that would freak me out!! What does Mr or Mrs Nike say to you? 'Go on Felix! You're doing very well!!'

As for a woman, yes I'll literally take anything. I've resorted to hanging around at bus stops but it's not going very well. Ideally more than three teeth and someone who doesn't consider a dressing gown to be a coat.

Dude, that sucks! How did you manage that? I'll be monumentally impressed if it was trying the level ten difficulty Kama Sutra positions. Hope it's not too painful for you.

Absolutely! I love walking in the morning chill (but not too cold though!) with a piping hot coffee in one hand and a fistful of hope in the other.

I carry a retinue of tiny pocket-sized Fab women in my hand. Each of them labelled with "hope". The OP is one of them.

To keep persevering at the running club I joined in January, decorate the youngest son bedroom, lose half a stone, read more and just keep enjoying life

Oh and get myself to my first Northampton social

Keep up my 10,000 steps a day streak. I'm hoping to reach 400k total for this month.

Keep up my running and get my 5km time under 30 minutes.

Do more strength training in the gym.

Oh and hopefully go to work in daylight!!!

I wish it was because of my sexual prowess! I just felt a pop in my back doing deadlifts the week of January, rested, recovered ok, and then I did it again slightly because I tried to go at it again. I'm feeling ok, other than the awkward hand on the knee when bending down to pick stuff up

Ouchie! Remember that feeling and having to use your hand on your knee - that’s what 47 feels like
