Villain is most in government so then would the hero be Guy Fawkes

Technically the Jedi were the establishment before the new establishment came along.

The last house on the left…

As a comic book nerd, I can’t tell you who’s the best.

Jamie Madrox is my favourite SUPERHERO

ANTI-HERO - I’ll say Rorschach

VILLAIN - I dunno. I’ll copout ‘n say Killmonger.

He had a compelling motivation. Coz if you disagree with him...YOU’RE THE VILLAIN

Superhero: Tommy Monaghan aka The Hitman written by Garth Ennis.

Antihero:Barracuda written by Gart Ennis, fought the Punisher and survived. Badass, could be a villain.

Antihero: Agent Graves from 100 Bullets by Written by Brian Azzarello and illustrated by Eduardo Risso.

For sheer depravity Villain: Willy Pete from Empowered written by Adam Warren. Details not safe for work and you may want to scrub your brain to forget you heard of him.

This is so hard.

If you are talking about the most From a Marvel point of view the most powerful must be The One Above All. As his name suggests he is essential a god, the supreme being. The character has been depicted as the legendary Jack Kirby. A nice tribute to the fantastic artist who helped create tons of superheroes. Think this was done in an edition of the Fantastic Four. So The One Above All has to be the most powerful.

If you are looking at Earth 616, earth based characters than maybe someone like the Sentry would be the most powerful but his history with his alter ego, the Void, may negate this.

Best villain has to be Dr Doom, he has everything a villain needs and has proven himself time and again.

As for anti hero, I loved Deaths ahead 2 in the nineties but it has to be Deadpool for me. The breaking of the fourth wall, the irreverent humour and great stories elevate this character for me, but that's just my tuppence on the matter, Mrs x

The best? It depends what the criteria are?

I mean, Superman has it all but is deathly boring.

I like spiderman because he’s so relatable and his humanity makes him so interesting.

My favourite character is Phoenix, she probably fits all three categories

I have to agree DH2 better from an aesthetic point. I have the compilation collection somewhere. I lived DH1's one take on life. I wish it had been made permanent.

"Darth Vader ie, the establishment.

Or if you note Hooper from Chasing Amy the Jedi are the bad guys!!

Hooper: Now. Vader, he's a spiritual brother, down with the force and all that good shit. Then this cracker Skywalker gets his hands on a lightsaber, and the boy decides HE'S gonna run the whole fucking universe! Gets a whole KLAN of whites together and they go bust up Vader's hood, the Death Star! Now what the fuck do you call that?

Banky: Intergalatic civil war?

Hooper: Gentrification!! They gonna drive out the black element to make the galaxy quote-unquote safe for white folks!

Not very Superhero-y!!

That asides I'm a Spiderman fan

St Leonards

I have a big soft spot for Nemesis from the 2000AD comic.

(Might add to the 2000AD thread as well).

Weird as fuck with alien looks, a libertine/anarchist who loved his family, and could dispense with religious fundamentalists either through ridiculous intelligence or a blast of "Chaos" power from his throat.

Said Chaos power being of unknown strength, but possibly enough to build or destroy a galaxy if he wanted to.

Cool dude .

THANOS WAS WRONG

Okay so his motivation was to wipe out all life to save on resources, right?

A) If you actually did that, you be turning the population back to where it was in the 70s, which means you’ll only have 50years before you have the same problem again.

B) He had the INFINITY GAUNTLET. He could magically make more resources. Hell, he could make new planets if he wanted
