"Don't ask a bunch of randos on a swinger's website what you should do to earn money for the next 40 years " They'll all tell you to sign up for welfare.

"I’m a 25 year old man who works on reception with a background in administration and retail and pub work. I’m depressed and severely stressed at my current job. I only feel alive when I’m socialising and having a real positive influence. Any suggestions Thank you fabbers, it’s good to talk xxx " OK so do you have anything you particularly enjoy doing? And interests? Perhaps you could retrain

"It’s definitely good to talk OP Is there anything you would love to do for a living? Something that really interests you? You’re young. You have options. You have the opportunity to make it happen. And being depressed is something you need to sort first. Then always remember to work to live… not live to work. You got this " Totally this, you need to make sure you have your work balance right. But working on your depression will certainly help. If work (which it seems) is a contributing factor to the depression, it looks like a change will be on order. Play to your strengths, if you can retrain. Sit down and think what you enjoy doing and see if you can think of a job that will utilise those skills/interests.

"If you want to feel a very real difference/impact of your time. Maybe look at working in care? There are not a lot of barriers getting into the sector.. as its understaffed. Most companies will take you on and train you. If you have experience in admin etc.. very quickly you can be a care manager and end up planning / Managing care for multiple people. It's not paid incredibly well at the bottom but it is ver rewarding and the sector needs people with skills. That said its fucking brilliant.. loads of my friends do it (I dont) bit I've helped out and a lot of the time they are hanging out with some of the coolest people I've ever met. * they work with adults with autism " I think I have hints of autism myself icl haha

Can’t be living just to do a horrible job for a few digits on a bank account
