It doesn't bother me. I asked for information on grammar in a thread recently. People were kind enough to advise me.

OP I think anyone worth their salt will appreciate your efforts.

You'll gain more confidence as time goes on. You just gotta grab the bull by the horns and write what you'd like to say.

We all make mistakes. Big deal.

Just read back and if it makes good sense, hit that send button.

All the best x

I find it hard to articulate myself with words as well as punctuations does it hold me back yeah sometimes it does

But I’m trying to improve and learn and that’s growth so if people are unwilling to converse because of it it’s a them problem I believe

Op I’m Autistic and dyslexic and ugly and I also have no clue about anything and believe it or not I’m an online English teacher and I love it so very much and I’ve bragged my whole life so if people look down on you then fuck them because they are not worth knowing.

Know your flaws and deal with them as best as you can.

Don’t let conditions dictate how you live and enjoy life.

You're fine OP, as decent people accept you for who you are and accept what you say, if they grasp what you mean. You don't need an extensive educational understanding of the language, if you mean well and communicate so that you are engaging with others . It's not just the words and structure but your intentions, your tone and more.

Relax and let yourself flow as you can. Your communication is unique and says a lot. Anyone who is critical you'll do well to have lost from your life

We do like a well written message and use it as a filter.

But let’s not forget many use a phone and its very easy to mis-type.

What matters much more is a) its not an obvious cut and paste and b) a 14yr old hasn’t written it- “ hey baby gurl dem’s peng pics” etc

I really enjoy chatting to and getting to know people online, so that does mean that if they struggle to communicate then it's probably going to stall before it gets going.

But not all dyslexic people struggle to write, and you don't need a big fancy education to have a great conversation.

Also be careful of the “wordsmith” those that say what they think you want to hear rather than what they are actually thinking

I’d like to think I have a bit more patience as my youngest has autism and reading his homework notes when he needs help can be ……..challenging!

We all have our strengths and weaknesses (mine is maths!) so I try not to judge.
